Become a MERMAID, Live a fairytale with SKOTT

Everyone had dreamed about being some kind of a magical creature in the childhood, right? Witches, elfs, pixies(like Tinkerbell),nymphs, vampires and others, this was the list that kid makes ,so he knows who he want to be. If you hadn't been passionate about it then you hadn't have a childhood( I am kidding).But yeah, I was, am, that kind of person and always wanted to be a mermaid. They are beautiful, perfect swimmers and can express their feelings through the sound of song. I didn't become one though, but I guess I have found one.

The singer that I am obsessed with for a couple weeks is SKOTT or ,exactly, Pauline Skött . This foxy lady is new on our AIR-waves ,but if you hear her songs once you cannot get enough of them. SKOTT is working in alternative/indie music genres which are one of my favorite .All of them are deep, breathtaking and can give you the feeling of calm anxiety. This can be unexpectedly , so that is why I called her mermaid.

Of course, Pauline can be a magical creature herself, because only that can explain why her single MERMAID is that charming, so it fills all your consciousness. She uses creature as a metaphor .No one is actually a mermaid, but this girls feels like it. She is in love that much so she can't swim away, she doesn't want to and she knows that he doesn't want it too. The ocean is LOVE, all that spectrum of feeling that both of them are too scared, but exactly SHE is ready guide them through it. As we know in the tails mermaids were helping sailors find their way home( I am speaking about mermaids not sirens). Maybe at a first sight you might think MERMAID is a break up or just sad song with depressed thoughts, but it actually not.

MERMAID is great also because of the music itself. You may not understand any words, but the mood will be understandable .Listening to it I can chill, I can cry, I can scream, I can do anything while it playing, because I just feel its passion, fire. The beats are that deep and harmonies really will remind of mermaid singing, the simplest 'la la la' never sounded that right in the song. It is not like musician hasn't had any other words to write, that suites there perfectly. If you know any other song with perfect 'lalala' thing, let me know.

SKOTT's MERMAID once more proves that Swedish singers/song writers make their music with desire to tell people so many stories as they can and use the most beautiful way to do so. I cannot wait till SKOTT will release her new album in 2018 and single MERMAID is gonna be there. So if you want to dissolve in the world of magical creatures and live a fairytale just for a moment I guess this is your solution. Go, listen to MERMAID and ENJOY😉!
