No Place Like Home or No Place IS Home?-new Welshly Arms album will tell the truth
I am back with some awesome music to share. Summer started and all of us are in need of cool music playlist, so hope you will add this band to yours asap.
I haven't heard about this band for a long time *and I apologize for this*, but maybe some of you are big fans, so don't be shy to share your thoughts about music here. So it is a Cleveland formed indie/alternative/blues rock band called Welshly Arms. They are something outstanding and close to soul with their songs. Band was formed in 2013 and is active, and actually they have a new album out there in every music platform, shared with world, so you freely can check No Place Is Home out.
I definitely can say that the whole album is a masterpiece and I like every song from it. Name of each song is, kind of, focused on one person, particularly yourself. This is why it looks very personal, deep centered and mysterious at the same time.
My personal favorite is Down To The River. This is the first song I heard, but favorite not because of that. I like it so much because of the feeling it gives. I mean, the beginning is damn glorious with choir singing effect, even though there are only 4 of them who sing. Totally gives that bluesy mood what follows heavy rock vibe, with more intense drums and bass guitar. Want to compliment also guitar solo. Such an incredible work and best introduction for intense bridge. Love bridges, basically open up whole meaning of the song or give that spicy taste.
Down To The River, how said Sam Getz, is a song about cutting off any connection with person that is toxic to you. Someone who is trying to make you feel miserable and helpless in any situation. Quite hard lyrics to understand fully and for all. I guess everyone will relate those to different situations in their lives or won't do it at all, but it still stays an amazing jam to listen to.
