Guide how to run this life by MisterWives

How is it fabulous to discover new, unbelievable and fantastic singers, bands and music itself? Over this weekend I have found so many great bands, experienced a lot of magnificent music and remembered some iconic songs I already worshiped. So that made me struggle with decision what should I write about first if I want to present all of them to readers...Hope I will figure it out soon, but for now I will follow my established plan.

Let me introduce you Machine by MISTERWIVES, one of the most stunning band from New York. Machine is a single from their second studio album 'Connect The Dots' ,which obviously has a lot of other great song as Coloring Outside the Lines, Only Human and others( listen to those, they all are incredible 😉).So why I chose this song to talk about then? The answer is very simple- I am in love. If you know bands like Panic! at The Disco, Twenty One Pilots, Walk the Moon, Bastille etc. then you cannot walk by THIS piece of music art. Harmony, that MISTERWIVES make is like a magic spell, this is the best way to describe what the beginning of the song. Although, it may give you felling of journey, like you should start moving somewhere. But as the vocals start then song instantly transforms into a revolutionary anthem. You unconsciously start listen to what a lead singer sings about, so when you start hear all the lyrics that it actually is a revolution. It can be about almost everything-relationship, politics, self-interest, feminism, anything what is eating you. I like the feeling that they put together different techniques, a bit of techno, a bit of rapping which is combined with all those amazing harmonies and pitch perfect high notes. Machine can definitely become an anthem of any context. Not only music makes it that powerful, but also words that are sung. E.g., "So don't dare tell me what I should and shouldn't do" the line says everything about who is the boss of your own life, that you don't need to listen to other people's babbling. Or this: "We're not part of your Machine", you are not choosing, you are 100 percent sure you have your own individuality and no one can claim the opposite.

I have been waiting to present this song, and band itself, for quite a long time. I basically fell in love with it, because I am a huge fan of the music genres like Indie, Indie-rock/pop, Alternative and Folk .But, even if you do not understand this music, then this song is still worth listening just for chill out or for instilling feeling of self esteem. So go, get inspired and ENJOY!
