New Jack Swing how does it sing?

Is the Friday your favorite day of the week? Mine definitely it is, like, of course weekends are the best, but if we speak about working week then Friday is on the top. This is day when you not feeling that pressure that you need to do your work for tomorrow. Homework for students can wait till Sunday come, but better not to leave it for the last moment. My Fridays are the best, because a)I don't have classes this day, and b)I can write a blog for you guys, with no rush and with morning coffee 😄

I thought about what to write, cause there are so many things to talk about *and I hope they will never end* So I came up with idea to use the most popular artist, who is known by everyone. He turned our world upside down, shake it and once you see him you will never forget. Do you already what am I talking about? If no, then I will tease you a little bit more. This person worked in so many genres of music and actually I cannot come up with a greatest example of New Jack Swing, which I want to explore.

Swingbeat or New Jack Swing, which I prefer better, is a fusion genre that appeared in 80s-90s of previous century. I would call it a genre mash up, because the origins of it have came from swing and funk, which we know are connected to jazz and blues, plus R&B, hip hop, house and soul. Nice cocktail, right? But I think you don't actually understand how it can sound and look like, I was also confused a bit, but with music example you get it right and fast. Artists who work with this genre use mostly drum machines, samplers and synthesizer , but don't also forget about vocals and other effects added. Maybe sound familiar to other music genres, but you should know that Bobby Brown, Paula Abdul, Joey Lawrence, Whitney Huston and many many more were working in it. But there is one person that I didn't mention...

Michael Jackson! Yeah, that's right, the King of Pop has a lot of songs made in a good tradition of New Jack Swing. May I add, that I'd better our King the King of Funk? He still stays the king, but music genre is not exactly right, because most of his songs are made in funk, not originally funk, it can be funk, pop and gospel, but still. But this is only my suggestion. So, speaking about New Jack Swing, I think you wonder which of his popular songs can be that...you don't believe it, but it really THE most known songs of his, like Dangerous or Remember the Time. I won't say a lot about those songs, because analyzing them can blow my and your mind *kidding, but still* I think no one will argue that Dangerous and Remember the Time, and also other Michael Jackson songs are a masterpiece. My day literally started with Remember the Time, when I was getting ready for school in the mornings it played almost every day. Jackson is a biggest music genre encyclopedia that can take a lot of time to discover, but it definitely will worth your time. So let's get started now! Go and listen one more time to Michael!
