What are We truly living for-time, place or people?

I always thought how strange it is to see Christmas decorations at shops at the beginning of November. Like, yesterday was Halloween, and today we are getting ready for X-mas... But this is not the bad thing though, right? That spirit in the air makes us feel a little bit happier and days seem to be more brighter. This whole holiday theme is not connected with the music directly, sorry, but it is too early for this. Although I guess, I am going back into my state when the music that finds me is more my type, not too depressing and etc. I always say that there is so much good music in the air so I cannot pick something right, but I am trying, isn't it why I am here?
There is this one new single, which is hanging in the air for a couple of weeks now, but it still so fresh and breathtaking and unusual for the indie-pop style. Maybe some of you know, maybe someone not, but I am speaking about an incredible singer and songwriter Georgi Kay. She is hanging out*which I mean working* in the music industry since 2010, so she released one studio album, 3 EPs and I think there is more coming. She definitely has her performing style and this is exactly what I like about her. Of course, everyone has a right to like it or not, but the way how her songs and her personal style are connected, plus indie-pop doesn't sound that classy. She performs all her songs by herself, with no band, only her and a computer. It may sound weird, but this is exactly how it looks at live concerts.
Georgi released her new single called Scary People a day before Halloween, but the song is not connected to this event at all. The song, how Georgi told herself, is about nowadays, about politics, about people, about anything and anyone who surround us. It is funny, how you actually can differently listen to one song only thinking about one or another topic *may I call it a multipurpose song?* Just try it and you will understand what I am talking about. What I love about Scary People is how simple and deep it sounds, when the beginning is so mysterious, so beautiful and when the lyrics start mostly you can hear only the beat, so you pay more attention to meaning. But I can't separate those things, it is like a burger, you need to eat it together. If you separate all the ingredients it won't be a burger anymore. With Scary People is the same thing and I think that only Georgi should sing it *not saying to not make covers*, but her voice is very special. Soft, but rough, with this sapid timbre, how parents may say "smoky voice", which reminds me a little bit of LP, but everyone has their own associations.
The music video pretty good reflects the idea of the song. Simple black and white, which is my weakness, with two different sides. One of the sides shows us the calmness and kind of fighting with our fears, face to face. But it also shows that maybe we don't have to hide from them or fight with them. Maybe we should find this compromise, something that will make this fear to calm down and not bother us anymore. The second side, on the contrary, is aggressive and screaming about all the world problems. Those are just little insertions of life moments that had happened or still happen. The contrast always gives a great dynamic to anything, so people give it more their attention.
I guess Scary People by Georgi Kay is the song that you won't be disappointed in. You can tur it on in whatever mood you are, wherever you are. Just, if you like indie and vintage and some fresh music vibes you gonna definitely like it, I promise. So don't waste more time, go and ENJOY this jam.
