So it occurs that The Chainsmokers are on the devil's side?

It feels like I have put my blogging aside a bit, but it is better that way than just writting stuff when it doesn't feel right. But I am still here, still alive, working and searching for a cool stuff. Especially now is hard to pick, because artists keep releasing new songs, new albums and I am just phisically cannot write about everything.
But it is cool though that I've waited for another week since The Chainsmokers put their new single Sick Boy on display, because now we have second song, which kind of completes the story?
So, the new song You Owe Me was released on February 14th, but you won't see any love story line. It looks quite opposite. Pretty much as the Sick Boy, You Owe Me has the problematic context. But the vibe that melody gives you is different, and if you listen to it and watch music video at the same time you can see that The Chainsmokers play with "other side" metaphor.
If you look close to the lyrics, you will see that those are pretty much clear. I mean, Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart basically scream into our faces about political problems in the world, in U.S., about people differences, about depression, faith, betrayal, freedom and a lot more *sorry I mixed all themes from both songs*. There are some moments in the text that I love because really feel connected to those words. For example second verse from the You Owe Me, when you feel that better spill everything you have in my face than whispering behind me back. Also, you can see that The Chainsmokers directly talk about dark days, when no one understands you and all you can do is having all those horrible thoughts in your head. It is really hard, if you know what I am talking about, especially if you are outgoing person but you have no one to be outgoing with...
Sick Boy is more about freedom. Freedom of personality, of choice, like you decide who you are, what you want tot be and where. It is not easy to become and be that person, especially when everyone tries to dictate you what you can do and say and what not. That is why song is called Sick boy, because when someone tries to see the truth and tries to open peoples' eyes, they try to label as insane same as in the Middle Ages. THIS is sick.
I want talk about music itself, because everyone knows about The Chainsmokers and that they are DJs and all electronic stuff, which is not in my competence *I am working on it though*. But I want to get back to the music videos and the "other side" thing. Look, this is pretty awesome how they made it connected to the music. In the Sick Boy video we see dark room where the band is located, in the middle is Andrew(Taggart), singing standing in the spotlight, but when he puts his body parts outside of light he becomes some kind of demon. If we relate it to the lyrics then being in the spotlight is like living in the bubble, where everything is safe, and you look normal to others, but as soon as you step out of the standarts you become a freak, that no one wants to deal with.
In the You Owe Me happening something a bit opposite. With all the social media stuff people can create their lives how they want to make people see them. We, willingly or unwillingly, create this fairy dust of our life, so everyone thinks they know us. But the truth is that even the closest ones cannot know all the truth, just because they cannot read minds. The Chainsmokers show that inside of the perfection can live a lot of demons that can scare people to death. House is like our minds, the secret safe place, that no one will never understand till the end.
I maybe missing some parts, so let me know what you think about new songs from The Chainsmokers. Go listen to their new music and if you have an opportunity, catch them on their tour. And ENJOY!
