Abnormally hot weather this summer is something rare and it gives no pleasure at home. This time I decided, that instead of talking about artists that I never met and never experienced live show of I share some great stuff from concert, that I went to (like 2.5 hour ago basically). I really want to know the answer on the question 'How many of you enjoy classic music?', because I am really not that big of the fan. The reason is not because it is bad, but because when you a child and is forced to play and go to concerts for 9 years, well... But I totally also know some people that will never appreciate classics, BUT I might give you a great solution.
I am so grateful that our country has such an amazing band DAGAMBA which absolutely can turn your thought upside down. I promise hard core guys, you even cannot imagine how much you might like it. DAGAMBA is a band from Latvia, even though they are more international, which put together awesome mashups of symphonies, concertos, sonatas and well known hard, metal rock pieces. Jeez, I swear sometimes you zoned out by these crazy things. Technique is so great, I was very impressed by all the musicians-celloists, pianist, drummer and oriental instrument multi instrumentalist, such a perfect combination.
I really love open air concerts, it gives a lot of joy and this time it gave also a lot of energy. Stage was on fire, guy were on fire and music just didn't make it any easier. I swear, you never heard Ludwig van Beethoven being performed that way, and also Rammstain(who can imagine it played by cellos?). Crowd cheered and didn't want them to let go.
I, by myself, am beyond grateful for DAGAMBA firstly making such an amazing music, secondly for coming with a concert to my city and making a boring Thursday evening full of new experiences. You will definitely won't regret going to one of their concerts, I can promise you that. They are breaking rules, so beware of them, cause these guy totally rock.
